I tied to limit my palette and used only black, white, lavender grey and some gold paint in this pieces. I found it is a lot more challenging than painting with a variety of colors. Still, you can create a lot of shades of gray when using these simple color combinations. Lavender gray is a new color that I made myself. I just wanted a very warm neutral gray color and couldn't find anything like that in the store. Mixing colors is one of the things I really love to do. I guess if I didn't paint, I could mix color all day long!
